About Pioneer Camping

Our mission at Pioneer Camping is to become well-established in the outdoor enthusiast and camping community, while doing so we want to ensure all of our campers have a memorable and unforgettable experience. We are a local family and veteran owned business with co-founders Matthew and Sharon Stephens.

Camper Rentals: Pioneer Camping will provide an easy turnkey camping experience. We offer full transport & set up/take down of our campers to select locations. These locations will include- Idle Hour Lake campgrounds in Altamont, KS, Big Hill Lake campgrounds in Mound Valley, KS, and also the notoriously known best place to hunt and fish in Southeast KS. The Cherokee County Wildlife area, more locally known as "The Pitts" in Hallowell, KS.
